    1. I strongly agree that the social media are now at the center of all marketing and communication activities of an organisation. The companies do all their advertisements promotions through popular social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and more, in order to reach more audience all around the world. In addition, communicating with customers is also much easier through social media.
    2. Nowadays, it seems impossible for a modern company to survive without using social media. From teenagers to older adults, social media usage became an irreplaceable routine in people’s daily lives and therefore, brands can reach more people via various social media platforms. Social media is so located at the center of modern marketing that making advertisements on mass media, such as TV, radio, newspapers and magazines, is kind of waste of money – as approved by Adidas’ recent move – because of not contacting many people, as more as you do through social media.
    3. In my opinion, social media can definitely play any part in the planning life cycle of strategic management, such as setting goals for your company/brand to determine where you want to be in the market, or in the identification and application of company strategies to serve your goal/target effectively.

I do not think that social media are now the center of all marketing tell now But yes I am agree that it is the the center of communication activities of an organization. targeting customers is the most important element in marketing and promotion campaigns and still people till now don’t trust what they read on the social media platforms. in addition that so many reviews on the same platforms reflects customer dissatisfaction after they reach the product or services through internet.

    As i said about the communication yes it is the center now and it very useful and low cost tool that save time and money and increase performance efficiency .

    For modern company impossible to survive without using social media because one of the most important evaluation standards of modernizing is HOW this company or organization deal with clients in social media platforms. not about presentation in social media.

    Sure they can. Today social media gave early indicators and warnings about the changes in marketplace and customer behavior and give valuable data that the company analyze it to get rare information help decision makers and top management to plan demand on real structure of information.

    1)-Yes, I am agree that the social media are now at the center of all marketing and communication activities of organisation because Social media gained its entrance into the corporate environment via marketing. However, as social media has evolved, so has its use across many corporate departments. Last year’s study concluded that 90% of companies now use social media as part of their wider marcomms strategy. This year’s findings conclude that marketing remains the core focus of social media activity within corporations. Communications was stated as a focus in 85% of respondents, with customer services reaching nearly 60% which isn’t surprising, as consumers have increasingly been turning to social media networks – most notably Twitter – to connect with brands for customer services queries. According to research carried out by Simply Measured, customer service queries via Twitter have increased by nearly 50% over the past year.
    So that mean that the social media are now at the center of all marketing.
    2)- The customers are on social media. The competitors are on social media. So it would be crazy for a new modern to survive without using social media, too. Nine out of 10 U.S. companies, in fact, are already using social media. And they’re already seeing concrete results: 90 % of businesses see increased exposure.
    3)- social media can play part in the planning life cycle of strategic management?
    Yes, social media can play part in the planning life cycle of strategic management because the SM has long been recognized as a valuable tool for analyzing the dynamic evolution of products in the market place. It is derived from the fact that a product’s sales volume follows a typical pattern that can readily be charted as a four-phase cycle known as embryonic, growth, maturity, and aging. The soc media do the same so it can be part of the planning.
